The Smart Base(SB-1) was designed to work with right bladed circular saws, but now we have modified it(SB-2) to work with left bladed saws as well.

    Zero Clearance, Dual antichip inserts

    • The Zero-clearance antichip insert AC-1 is designed to apply pressure against the material while you are cutting. It prevents the material from lifting. For the first time ever, you can have clean cuts with your circular saw. You don't have to use expensive blades. It works without the EZ Smart Guide.

    The AC-2 works with the EZ Smart Guide System to provide antichip protection on the outside of the cut. This is another first in woodworking history. Now, you can have clean cuts on both sides of the blade with your EZ Smart Guide System.

    Dual Tracks for Straight (Vertical) & Bevel Cuts

    The unique design of the Dual track Smart Base allows you to cut without any offset measurements for straight cuts, just use the inside track.

    ...for your bevel cuts, use the outside track. You no longer have to be a mathematician to figure out the offset measurements on your bevel cuts. By using the bevel track and trimming the antichip edge of the guide, you have zero clearance. Your positioning and your cutting line become one again.


    Bi-Directional...any way you want (Straight or Bevel)

    Never before in woodworking history, has such a simple invention solved such complex problems. What we have here is a system that works like a dream. If you can dream it, you can cut it.


    As you can see in the photo, you can use one side of the guide for your Straight cuts (with the inside track) and the other side for your bevel cuts (with the outside track).
